MAYVILLE, N.D. – The North Dakota Board of Higher Education Thursday approved several projects for the state’s largest universities, including more funding for athletic facilities, totaling more than $132 million.
As the light was recently shed on a situation at the University of North Dakota - now other universities are taking notice - and taking precautions. A University of North Dakota police officer was forced to resigned this past year after his a camera caught him with pornography on his computer.
By the end of UND President Robert Kelley’s half-hour speech Tuesday afternoon, he summed up what much of his state of the university address was about. “It’s clear that we have a great deal of work to do,” he said.
For many area families, purchasing all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner is a dream. One local group is making this dream a reality for thousands of people in the Grand Forks community.
Monday, cadets from the university's Army and Air Force ROTC programs took part in a ceremony honoring veterans. "Warriors of The Future" from the ROTC programs presented U.S. Flags to "Warriors of The Past".
