17th annual Riverfest kicks off this weekend in Drayton
As the weather heats up so will the fun in Drayton North Dakota.
This weekend is the 17th annual Riverfest.
The four day event features many games for the kids, a Saturday morning parade, and even mud volleyball games. The annual fishing tournament was cancelled do to high waters on the Red River, but organizers say there are many other attractions that will keep everyone busy.
Rob Boll, Drayton Riverfest said, "we have riverfest so we can show our hometown spirit, we like to get the community together to have an event for the people who live here and the people and also."
The large firework display will start at dusk tomorrow night in Drayton.
