42nd Annual Shrine Bowl kicks off Sunday at FargoDome
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - If the dog days of summer have you missing football, not to worry, the 42nd Annual Shrine Bowl kicks off tomorrow at the FargoDome.
The week long camp brings the best players in the state together one last time. For many of them it's a chance to prepare for the next level.
Even though it is a long and tiring week, the players say they are having fun, taking in everything that comes with the experience.
Ryan Chrest/Cavalier High School: “Well we've been getting up early every day for breakfast every day at 7. After that it's about practice, eat, practice, eat, practice, eat. We always do something fun every night. Either a movie or go swimming or just hang out with the guys so it's pretty fun.”
James Inman/Committed to MSUM: “It's kind of cool. You're will all the guys you played against your whole life, even some of your teammates. Getting ready for college football but you get that opportunity to play one last game of high school football so it's a really good experience.”
And you can catch all of the All-Star's starting tomorrow afternoon on 6-3 and 8-3; our live coverage begins at 4pm with the 11-man game, the 9-man follows, games also streamed on WDAY.com.
