Tim Gowan, president of the Red River Valley Motorcyclists, said some bikes visitors will see include an 1842 Harley Davidson from an owner in Winnipeg and several older, restored imports.

"This year, it's anything from a set of old antiques to choppers to the big touring bikes," he said.

The event will be held 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the show is $5, while children ages 10 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult.

Entertainment during the show includes a performance by an Elvis impersonator and a drawing for two John Deere bicycles will be held for the children.

"It's going to be a lot of fun," said Gowan.

Proceeds from the show will be donated to local charities. The majority of the donations this year will go toward building the Sunshine Hospitality Home, a proposed home that would offer families of patients a place to stay during their medical treatment in Grand Forks.

So far, the Red River Valley Motorcyclists show has donated more than $214,000 to local charities, according to the group.
