Chipotle Fargo location made clear
FARGO – The mystery of where a Chipotle Mexican Grill will land in Fargo is no longer much of a mystery.
The new restaurant will be taking shape in the Prairie Stone Center at 1680 45th St. S., according to building permit application information the company provided the city.
Chipotle will join a number of other restaurants planning to open soon in the Prairie Stone Center, including Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Classic Rock Coffee and Panda Express.
Chipotle confirmed in January it was coming to Fargo, but it stayed mum on just where in town it would open.
A Chipotle spokeswoman on Thursday said she could not comment on the location.
The new store will be the first Chipotle Mexican Grill in North Dakota and it is expected to open sometime this summer, according to information the company provided when it announced it was coming to Fargo.
The brand has more than 1,550 restaurants in the United States and several international locations, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Toronto and Vancouver.
On its website, Chipotle describes its restaurant philosophy as serving food with integrity. It states that whenever possible it uses meat from animals raised without the use of antibiotics or added hormones.
Menu items include burritos, burrito bowls, crispy tacos, soft tacos, salads, and chips and guacamole.
