Moorhead, MN - Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those who set fire to an abandoned home here late Tuesday night, a release from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Sabin Fire Department, and Dilworth Fire Department responded to a fire at about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday and found the abandoned home at 6317 7th St. S. totally engulfed in flames.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office considers arson a possible cause and is offering a reward for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of those who started the fire.

The reward will be paid for by the Minnesota Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
