Cope Well Foundation Festival in Grand Forks
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- People in Grand Forks are breaking out their tennis shoes to walk, run, or bike for a good cause.
Tonight is the Cope Well Foundation's first annual walk, run, bike and music fest. Participants can join the 5K walk, 10K run, or 20K bike.
Local food vendors, a dunk tank, chair massages and a music festival featuring six local bands will also be set up in Town Square.
The Cope Well Foundation is a local non-profit that helps those affected by cancer overcome emotional challenges.
Mary Haugsted, bicyclist, says, " I know a few people with cancer so I thought it would be a good cause"
50 people pre-registered to participate. The event runs until 10 PM.
