A break-in over overnight Saturday at Valley Golf Course resulted in some stolen cash, alcohol and golf equipment, East Grand Forks police said today.
Lt. Rod Hajicek said golf course officials were still taking an inventory Tuesday to determine if anything else is missing, "but it doesn't appear to be much taken." He didn't disclose how much cash was taken from registers.
The burglary was discovered when employees showed up for work Sunday morning to find a smashed glass door at the rear of the club house, he said.
The incident remains under investigation.
