Fargo police are investigating the discovery of a body found early Tuesday morning near a south Fargo church.

 

Fargo police Lt. Joel Vettel said a passerby called in the report at around 6:36 a.m. of the body of a 54-year-old man found lying dead in the 700 block of 10th Street South near St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Vettel said the man appeared to have collapsed on the sidewalk near the church.

There are no obvious signs of trauma to the body, he said, and the death is not considered suspicious.
