Fargo Police Investigating Stabbing After Man Shows Up at Emergency Room with Wounds
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo Police are investigating a stabbing, after a man showed up to an emergency room with wounds early this morning.
Police say they were called to Essentia Health's emergency room around 2 a.m., but when they tried to interview the man, he was un-cooperative.
Police have narrowed down where they believe the stabbing may have happened based on witness statements, the 1500 block of 42nd Street south in Fargo.
They say at this point in the investigation, it looks like a group of people who knew the victim may be responsible.
Sgt. Jim Vanlith/Fargo Police Dept.: "We'll go out and re-interview people today and see if they can actually take us to where it may have happened so we can get an idea of where to start."
Sergeant VanLith says the victim's injuries don't appear to be life threatening.
