Hearing scheduled in skid-steer case in Ellendale
Ellendale, ND (WDAY TV) - An update tonight on that controversial skid-steer loader, the BCI confiscated in Ellendale, North Dakota.
Mike and Kristi Gilbert thought they bought the skid steer loader in good faith from a Fargo equipment dealer.
But in early August, authorities with the BCI came and took the skid-steer away from them, saying it had been stolen from a construction company in Pennsylvania.
Right now the skid-steer is still in storage at a county shed, awaiting a judge's order to release it.
Meantime, the original owner of the skid steer out of Pennsylvania tells us, he has hired a Valley City attorney to help him get the loader back.
A hearing in Dickey County Court will be held to make a decision.
