Man accused of threatening girlfriend with a knife
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Stearns County police have arrested a man who's accused of threatening his former girlfriend with a knife in Fargo.
Police say Timothy Saari fled Cass County late last night.
Police say after Saari threated his girlfriend and the lives of her two children, he forced her to leave the house and buy him gasoline.
She was then able to get away and call for help.
Saari is being held on charges of domestic violence, armed robbery, and terrorizing.
Lt. Joel Vettel/Fargo Police Dept.: "Obviously very serious situation anytime we see violence doesn't appear that our victim was harmed in this situation but certainly very concerning."
Saari is being charged in Cass County, but will be held in Stearns County for the next couple weeks, until they can extradite him back to Fargo.
