Denver, CO (WDAY TV) - A trip to the Rocky Mountains seems to have the Twins roller coaster season trending upward again.

The offense blew up in the first inning today, thanks to some 2-out hitting, Chris Parmelee lifts a single to center, Kendrys Morales and Trevor Plouffe score.

2 batters later, Eduardo Escobar sends a shot to deep right center, 2 more runs come flying home and it's 4-0 Twins.

Sam Fuld continues the domination of Rockies starter Brett Anderson, with an RBI single. The Twins score 5 runs on 7 hits in the first inning.

They still have an 8-5 lead as they play in the 8th.
