Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - The Minnesota Twins rank seventh in the big leagues in scoring.

And today, they took the field as the second place team in the Central division.

To top it off they were going for the sweep of Seattle and a season-high four game win streak.

Times are good at Target Field.

Trevor Plouffe puts the home team up early, he singles to right center, Aaron Hicks and Danny Santana score for a 2-0 Twins lead in the 3rd.

But, things unravel in the 5th, Ricky Nolasco hasn't played up to his big contract yet, and here he fails to cover first base, allowing the runner to reach.

Same inning, Robinson Cano breaks a 2-all tie with this deep drive to center, Aaron Hicks has a little trouble with the wind out there, the go-ahead run scores.

Felix Hernandez kept the Twins off the board the rest of the way, in route to the 6-2 win.

Ron Gardenhire/Twins Manager: “We missed some plays which ended up costing us. It may not show up on the scoreboard, but they end up costing us. We missed plays and we walked too many. I don't know how many walks that we did give up scored, but it's too many.”
