Over $30,000 in federal funding headed to North Dakota
More than $30,000 in federal funding is on its way to North Dakota to help protect people from sex offenders and to reduce sex exploitation.
The funds will help North Dakota's Attorney General implement the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
It includes programs to protect children and adults from sexual exploitation and violent crime.
The funding was announced Tuesday by Senator Heidi Heitkamp.
