Parmelee swinging hot bat for Twins
Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - A key to some success right now is Chris Parmelee, who has hit safely in 13 of his last 15 games.
Parmelee has had his ups and downs in big leagues for parts of the last 3 seasons, including being dropped from the 40 man roster.
Good thing for the Twins, no other team picked him up; he is hitting .337 since June 1st, which makes it hard on the manager to take his name out of the lineup.
Ron Gardenhire/Twins Manager: “The one thing that I see is different for this year is he doesn't worry about if he is starting or coming off the bench, he is just playing baseball and enjoying his time here, if you get your opportunity you do the best you can, you quit worrying about a lot of things and it kind of lets you relax a little bit and be a baseball player and I really think that's what he is doing now."
