Red River Valley Fair offering new activities, some completely free

The Red River Valley Fair kicked off Tuesday, and for some, it's not only the rides making their heads spin, but also the prices.

But this year, the fair is offering some new options, some are completely free.

Reporter Kay Cooley reports.

Red River Valley Fair hours:

4-H Buildings open at 9 AM

Midway and Games start at 1 PM Wednesday and Thursday

  Noon Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Grandstand Lineup:

Tuesday - Chase Rice

Kay Cooley came to WDAY 6 News in September of 2012. She was born in a suburb of Chicago then made her home in Hershey, PA. Kay graduated from Northwestern University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in journalism.
