Severe Weather Risk Today/Tonight
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) in Norman, OK has highlighted part of north-central North Dakota with a slight risk of severe weather. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba this afternoon, and spread into North Dakota later this evening. Some of those storms could produce large hail, 1" in diameter or large, and spotty gusty winds. The risk for tornadoes is low, but an isolated tornado is always possible. Showers and thunderstorms are also expected for areas across eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota this afternoon and evening, but the better risk for severe weather will be in north-central North Dakota. Remember to stick with WDAY and WDAZ for the latest severe weather information.
