Super Moon Photos from 8/10
Last night the super moon occurred, which is when a full moon coincides with the moon being closest to the earth in its orbit. That’s about 190,000 miles away! According to NASA, the moon appears 14% larger and 30% brighter than usual. Unfortunately, clouds did move into the region last night and may have obstructed views of the moon. Depending on where you were, some did a great glimpse of the moon last night. We have received numerous super moon photos and here are a few from last night.
