Supporters raise money for fight against cancer at Relay for Life in Devils Lake
Supporters are raising money for the fight against cancer Friday in Devils Lake.
The Lake Region Relay For life just kicked off at Roosevelt Park in Devils Lake.
Supporters will honor cancer survivors by having them trace their hands on the "hands of hope" wall.
At seven, teams will begin walking among near nine thousand luminaries...lit in honor of those lost to cancer.
Organizer Jan Kurtz says well over 300 people are eager to take part and help end cancer in Devils Lake.
She says support is so strong in Devils Lake...they were the top earning relay for life group for their population size in the country last year.
