Two cats rescued from north Fargo apartment fire
FARGO - All residents were evacuated safely and two cats were rescued in an apartment fire Saturday night in north Fargo.
When fire crews responded to 1014 7th Street N., around 8:55 p.m., smoke and flames were visible from the southwest corner of the complex. The occupant of the apartment with the fire was not at home at the time, according to a news release from the Fargo Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and the fire was extinguished quickly.
One of the cats was given oxygen by FM ambulance as taken to the Red River Animal Emergency Clinic by police. The second cat appeared to have no injuries, the release said.
No other structures in the complex were damaged. The fire is under investigation.
