Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - To Grand Forks, Bubba Schweigert on the Alerus Center turf, for the first time as UND head coach after replacing Chris Mussman.

After a slow start, the offense begins to click; Ryan Bartels hits Casey Young in the back of the end zone for a touchdown.

Later, it's the pride of Warroad, not T-J Oshie, but Adam Shaugabay cutting his way into the end zone, for one of his two touchdowns on the day.

The new coaching staff wasn't afraid to make some position changes, and former offensive lineman Shea Walker looked good at nose guard, he drops running back Patrick Sharp for a 5-yard loss.

Afterward, the head coach talked about both sides of the ball.

Bubba Schweigert/UND Head Coach: "Happy to see our guys run the football more consistently today and convert on third downs. We made some good catches on third downs and some good throws. Defensively thought we played much better in the second half of the scrimmage. We need to be more of an attack mode. Early in the scrimmage we were on our heels. We will get that corrected."
