Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - Fall camp is in the books for first year Head Coach Bubba Schweigert and his North Dakota football team.

UND had plenty of personnel decisions to be made during the two week long process.

The biggest decision was naming Detroit Lake's native Joe Mollberg as the opening game starter.

After then it came down to finding the right combinations of players that Schweigert wanted on the field to try and improve on a defense that allowed 33.7 points per game last season.

The coach says he thinks they have the right guys in place entering game week.

Bubba Schweigert/First Year UND Head Coach: “We thought we had a really good fall camp, and got some decisions made on who is going to be in certain situations working together, who can be on some special teams and help us, we also felt like in the nickel back situations or six defensive back packages we have we found some guys who can play those roles so I think our fall camp was productive.”
