UPDATE: Authorities provide answers after two deaths on the Spirit Lake Nation
BIA officials say an infant death on the Spirit Lake Nation was not determined to be suspicious.
An 8-month-old infant was found dead in Tokio on April 24th.
A BIA spokesperson says it was a case of Sudden Infant Death Syndrom, or SIDS.
The BIA however, did not comment of the death of a 21-year-old male in Fort Totten.
He was found in home on March 15th.
The BIA says that case is under the jurisdictions of the FBI.
A call to the FBI today was not returned.
