Vikings need to start reconsidering if they want to re-sign Kyle Rudolph
Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - As the Vikings prepare for the up-coming NFL draft, they also need to start thinking about re-signing their 2nd round pick from 2011.
Tight End Kyle Rudloph is entering the final year of his rookie contract and says he wants to stay in Minnesota.
Rudolph was the pro bowl MVP in 2012, a breakout year for the former Notre Dame standout.
He was on the way to another terrific season last fall, before a broken foot ended his season in November.
Now, the 24-year old tight end, wants to make sure his future is in purple.
Kyle Rudolph/Vikings Tight end: "I really have not and yes, I would like to stick around after this season. I've really enjoyed my time here. From the top-down in our organization, I think we have the best owners in football. They'll do anything for us to win. Everybody in the front office and the new staff, I really like the direction that this team is going in and I'm excited to be a part of that future. Obviously, I'd like to be here for a while, but that's something that you'd have to ask them. That's all on their terms obviously."
