Email

Grand Forks, ND – WDAZ is proud to announce that several staff members have been honored with 13 awards over the past few months; our News Department has won ten awards, our Sports Department has won two awards and our Promotions Department has won one award.  “This is an exciting time at WDAZ as my staff continues to be recognized for their award winning work. This is also an historic moment for WDAZ, as it’s the first time we have ever been nominated for the Upper Midwest Regional Emmys®.  I am very proud of everyone on camera and behind the scenes,” says Rob Horken, WDAZ Station Manager.  “Everyone in our newsroom works incredibly hard every day, and it’s wonderful to see them honored in this way.  We had a goal of getting a Regional Emmy® nomination, and now we have two.  I could not be more proud.” says Julie Moravchik, WDAZ News Director.
