If North Dakota's finest were historic art relics, according to Google Arts and Culture app
Have you ever wondered what North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven might look like if he were a historic piece of art? How about Josh Duhamel? Or Carson Wentz?
No, you say? Yeah, neither did I. But after using a cool, new feature from Google's Arts and Culture mobile app, myself and others couldn't help but be amused and entertained with the (uncanny) side-by-side comparisons.
If art is your thing, the Google Arts and Culture app is a must-download. From virtual tours to "zoom views," the app allows users to have a one-of-a-kind experience with art from over 1,200 international museums, galleries and institutions from over 70 countries.
For our purposes, we took advantage of the app's image-recognition software - with its database of paintings - to see which piece of art the app sees most comparable to 10 of the most famous faces from North Dakota.
Those faces are: Gov. Doug Burgum, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, Hoeven, Rep. Kevin Cramer, Josh Duhamel, Carson Wentz, Jonny Lang, Lawrence Welk, Phil Hansen, Roger Maris and Peggy Lee.
Here are the results, enjoy!
