Missing Wis. teen's bike found; no sign of girl
The Associated Press - TOWN OF GENESEE, Wis.
Waukesha County authorities say the bicycle belonging to a missing15-year-old girl was found in Waukesha, about eight miles from where they expected to find it.
Sheriff's Inspector Eric Severson said Friday there's still a lot investigators don't know, but there's still no evidence to suggest foul play.
Kathryn J. Stalbaum missed her school bus Tuesday morning and texted a friend she'd ride her bike to Kettle Moraine High School. She never arrived.
Her bike was found Thursday, but authorities didn't immediately say where.
Severson says CrimeStoppers has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to Stalbaum. He says authorities have received about 150 phone calls, but they're not getting the sort of leads they hoped for.
He says deputies have been communicating with Kathryn's sister in the Minneapolis area.
