Another robbery at a Grand Forks business...the second in two days. This time the used CD store Discontent was hit.
It happened at about 1:30 this afternoon.
Authorities say it probably WAS the same man who robbed a Grand Forks hotel earlier this week.
They say a man went into the South Washington Street store, showed a handgun and demanded money.
You can see the man in the survielance photo holding the gun in his right hand. He is described as a white man about 6 feet tall wearing a red ski mask, black sweatshirt with a white design on the front and pajama pants.
Police were on the scene within minutes looking for the suspect.
They set up a several block perimeter around the area and brought in police dogs to try to track the suspect.
A neighboring school, Lewis and Clark Elementary, went into lock down during the incident, but students were able to leave the school at the end of the day.
Police say they think this robber is the same man from the hotel robbery earlier this week.
"We don't assume that it is," says Sgt. Brett Johnson, "but obviously we don't focus on that. We are definitely looking at the fact that it probably is related."
Both suspects used a handgun, were wearing red ski masks and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Their physical description is similar too.
