2 Sentenced for Stealing From Turtle Mountain Tribe

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Two Dunseith residents have been sentenced for stealing from the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says both 33-year-old Anthony Keplin and 32-year-old Nicole Azure failed to accurately report their employment information and were overpaid social service benefits because of it.
Keplin was sentenced to a year of probation and ordered to pay $1,340 in restitution. Azure got two years of probation and more than $2,300 in restitution.
