An East Grand Forks man will spend 17 years in prison for the sexual abuse of a girl.
Kyle John Nelson pleaded guilty to two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree.
The 30-year-old admitted to sexually abusing a child several times in 2006 when she was about eight years old and again last winter.
The Polk County judge ordered that Nelson register as a predatory offender when he gets out and that he have no contact with the victim.
