MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a Minot man faces a felony assault charge for allegedly choking his former girlfriend until she was unconscious at an apartment complex parking lot early Saturday.
Police say 21-year-old Kyler Chris Parisien was arrested at the scene at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday and taken to the Ward County Jail.
Police say the 18-year-old woman was treated and released at the scene.
