The Grand Forks Dak-Minn Blood Bank is running short on blood.

They are in need of type O-Positive and O-Negative.

The shortage usually happens this time of year because people are traveling and there are more accidents.

O-Positive and O-Negative are unique because one is the most popular while the other is universal.

The blood bank only has 10 units left of these types of blood; they usually have over 70.

The Dak-Min Blood Bank supplies blood and blood products to Altru Hospital.
