DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say one person has died and two were injured after a single-vehicle rollover crash near Devils Lake.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the pickup driven by Benson Vang of Brooklyn Center, Minn. went out of control on a gravel road and rolled just after 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Troopers say a passenger, Michael Vang, 44, from Ramsey, Minn., was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at a Devils Lake hospital. According to an accident report, Vang wasn't wearing a seat belt.
The patrol says another passenger, 42-year-old Ma Xiong Vang of Ramsey, Minn., and 43-year-old Sheng Vang from Brooklyn Park, Minn., were injured in the crash. Ma Xiong Vang was air-lifted to a Fargo Hospital.
Troopers say the pickup's driver was not injured.
Assisting the Highway Patrol were the Benson County Sheriff's Office, Lake Region Ambulance, and Devils Lake Rural fire.
