After years of watching her on "The Golden Girls" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," a Grand Forks woman is about to meet one of her idols.

Grandmother of 11, Alice Hogenson won an internet contest to meet Betty White.

She says she's excited for a trip to Los Angeles to visit White at a music video shoot for White's LA zoo charity. She's headed there Monday.

The 89-year-old actress's recent guest stint on "Saturday Night Live," and a starring role on "Hot In Cleveland" has rocketed her back to the top.

Hogenson knows her best as Rose Nylund on "The Golden Girls," and she even knows her favorite Rose joke by heart.

"She asks Dorothy if she could ask a dumb question and Dorothy tells her she can better than anyone else. But, those are the ones," Hogenson

Hogenson says at first she thought getting to meet Betty White was too good to be true, but was glad to find out the contest, put on by the Lifeline Program, was the real deal.
