Park District Partners With Altru on New Center

The Grand Forks Park Board has announced a partnership for the new wellness center with Altru.

They made the announcement today, saying that Altru will lease 7500 square feet in the planned facility.

Altru will put some of its services in the leased space, like nutrition and sports rehab services.

The proposed park district wellness center is not a done deal yet- the district says it still needs to raise 3 to 4 million dollars for the project.

Plans for building the center have not been finalized, but a location north of 47th Avenue South on the eastern side of south Washington street in Grand Forks was chosen.
