GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota football team kicks off its season Thursday night.
The Fighting Sioux host the Drake Bulldogs at the Alerus Center. Kickoff is 7 p.m..
UND is opening at home for the first time since the 2008 season. The Sioux have a 57-11 record at the Alerus, including an unblemished 10-0 mark in NCAA Division II playoff games. UND now competes at the Division I Football Championship Subdivision level.
