The Fire Hall Theatre in Grand Forks is hosting a five week Movie Madness event.
The shows will be a double feature starting at 9:30 each Friday night. The movies are "the best of the worst" with everything from sci-fi to horror flicks.
This is the first week of the movie marathon, and the night's movies are "The Last Man On Earth" and "Plan 9 From Outer Space".
"Anybody that comes tonight and wears a tin foil hat, since the second movie is about aliens and we don't want them to read your mind, gets free pop at intermission," Kathy Coudle-King with the Fire Hall Theatre said.
Its $5 for each double feature. That money also includes free refreshments.
Other showings are:
Sept. 9th - Attack of the Giant Leeches & Wasp Woman
Sept. 16th - Attack of the Puppet People & Teenage Zombies
Sept. 23th - Gammera the Invincible & The Brain That Wouldn't Die
Sept. 30th - Little Shop of Horrors & Night of the Living Dead
Proceeds go toward supporting the theatre's new youth theatre workshops, Act Up!
