The sideswipe crash happened just before 6 p.m. about two miles west of Climax at the intersection of Highway 220 and 360th St.
The driver of the Case combine, Brian Evenson, 56, of Climax, was eastbound on 360th St. when he failed to yield at the intersection, according to a State Patrol accident report.
Cecil Malme, 76, of Neilsville, was heading north on Highway 220 when Evenson pulled out in front as he tried to cross the highway.

The patrol says Malme was able to lean over in order to avoid a more severe injury. Malme was taken to RiverView Health in Crookston.
