Grand Forks natives Jocelyne and Monique Lamoureux and Warroad, Minn., native Gigi Marvin have been named to the U.S. Olympic women's hockey team.
All three players are forwards.
The squad will compete in the winter games beginning in February in Vancouver.
The Lamoureux sisters are twins, who transferred to UND after their freshman seasons at Minnesota, where they scored a combined 140 points. The Lamoureuxs are not eligible to play for UND until next season.
The Lamoureuxs are the first female athletes to be named to an Olympic team while enrolled at UND.
Marvin finished her career at Minnesota as the Gophers' sixth-leading all-time scorer with 195 points.
