UND Lands Verbal Commitment From Northern MN Football Standout
GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The Fighting Sioux football team has landed a verbal commitment from a northern Minnesota standout.
GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - The Fighting Sioux football team has landed a verbal commitment from a northern Minnesota standout.
Detroit Lakes QB Joe Mollberg is a versatile 6'3" signal caller who rushed and threw for over 1,000 yards last year for the Lakers.
He says it's a soft verbal commitment because he is still waiting to hear from the University of Iowa. But, Mollberg says he's excited for the chance UND offers.
"I have a great opportunity of playing at UND. I know the education is great there. They have exactly what I'm looking for and what I want to do. The Big Sky Conference (UND) is going into is very cool. I like everything about UND," Mollberg said.
