Ribbon Cut on Amazon's South Grand Forks Expansion

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - People got the chance to see inside the new Amazon building at a ceremony in Grand Forks on Wednesday.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - People got the chance to see inside the new Amazon building at a ceremony in Grand Forks on Wednesday.

Hundreds of people celebrated the newly-expanded customer service center and how many jobs it will bring to the area.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by tours of the new 29,000 square foot space.

The area was converted from manufacturing space to office space, along with training rooms and a break room.

Amazon's choice to expand in Grand Forks is bringing in more than 200 full-time jobs along with hundreds of seasonal jobs.
