CAVALIER, N.D. (AP) — Residents of the northeast North Dakota city of Cavalier have overwhelmingly rejected a proposed $11.5 million school bond issue.

The Grand Forks Herald reports that the unofficial results of Tuesday's election show 75 percent of voters against the proposal. About 1,250 people voted.
