GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Thieves made off with more than $10,000 worth of pharmaceutical drugs over the weekend.

The Grand Forks Police Department is investigating the Saturday morning burglary of Compass Delivery Systems on University Avenue.

An employee at the local delivery company noticed that items were out of place at the warehouse, and further investigation revealed that prescription drugs were missing from an unsecured vehicle.

The type and quantity of the drugs is still being determined.

Surveillance video showed a vehicle, described in the police report as a small, dark-colored 4-door SUV, that possibly could have been associated with the burglary.

There were no apparent signs of forced entry to the building.
