GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Police officers are getting a hands on course in "Ultimate Survival Instincts."
92 state, federal and local law enforcement officers are taking the two-day training course.
Officers learn officer safety, physical conditioning and survival methods.
The course started last year helping officers with the physical and emotional side of the job.
"We talk about conditioning, we talk about being in the right physical condition, emotional condition. What it takes to be a police officer and survive this career for 30 plus years," instructor James Glennon said.
The program was started to help officers thrive in their careers.
