CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Beets covered the road Saturday after a beet truck overturned outside a home.

A truck hauling beets to the American Crystal Sugar plant in Crookston tipped over around 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

The accident happened in front of a home at 1402 S. Front St.

Kevin Gruhot, who was in his parents' house at 1402 South Front Street at the time, said he thought a train on the tracks nearby was derailing when he heard the sound of the truck tipping and the beets spilling. "It was really loud," he said. The driver was walking around and appeared to be OK right after the accident, Gruhot added.

There were no injuries reported. The accident is under investigation.
