Polk County Humane Society Halves Adoption Fee For Cats Due to Influx

CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - The Polk County Humane Society in Crookston says they are dealing with an influx of cats.

CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - The Polk County Humane Society in Crookston says they are dealing with an influx of cats.

That's causing them to charge half of the adoption fee starting on Monday, October 31, running for two weeks.

The Humane Society says they seized 20 cats on Monday from a home in Crookston and 15 a week ago.

That brings the total amount of cats at the Humane Society to 69.

Shelter hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
