Museum Grounds Haunted For Halloween

The Myra Museum has turned into a land of haunted houses from different time periods for this year's Halloween weekend.

The Myra Museum has turned into a land of haunted houses from different time periods for this year's Halloween weekend.

This is the third year the Grand Forks County Historical Society has hosted the Legends of Terror Haunted House.

It will run from 8:00 p.m. to midnight both Friday and Saturday night.

There will be a half pint haunt on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Each building on the museum grounds has a different scenario with scares from the past.

"In some cases it's a family, but it becomes very apparent that something is not right. And it then turns into this big scare," Grand Forks County Historical Society Director Leah Byzewski said.

The Legends of Terror Haunted House costs $10 per person. The half pint haunt it $3 per person or $10 for a family. All money goes to the Grand Forks County Historical Society.
