GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Parts of North Dakota could see the first snow accumulation of the season in a matter of days.
The National Weather Service office in Grand Forks says a storm system is forecast to move out of the Rockies and into the Northern Plains this weekend.
There's a chance that precipitation will start out as rain and change to snow that will be blown around by strong winds. The snow might accumulate in the northeastern part of the state.
The Weather Service office in Bismarck says the western and central parts of the state also could get snow.
