ST. MICHAEL, N.D. – A driver suffered minor injuries today when his semi-truck rolled after failing to negotiate a curve.

Kevin G. Blow, 50, of Crookston, Minn., was on Highway 20 seven miles north of St. Michael with a load of dirt en route to Fort Totten.

He came out of a pit and failed to negotiate a curve, according to Sgt. Joe Knowski of the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

As he started to enter the road ditch, Blow overcorrected, causing his semi to jackknife, flipping the tractor.

Both the tractor and trailer rolled, landing upside down, on the highway shoulder.

Blow was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake, where he was treated and released. He was cited for failing to use the care required, Knowski said.
